The Lake Erie Invaders are dedicated to helping the local community. First and foremost, we should mention that the players and staff do NOT receive compensation for their time or abilities. Many times professional athletes get involved in their local communities, but sometimes even get compensation for that!!
The Invaders staff and players recognize the need for leadership and dedication in their local communities. In 2009, the Invaders were involved with several events and intend to be further involved in 2011. Each player is required to be involved in at least one event throughout the season. Usually this involves children, elderly or maybe even sick or disabled persons.
The players love to make a positive impact on the local citizens. The players know, too, that their efforts will help to make them better individuals.
